    Tracking Instagram Ads in Hubspot – as it’s not possible atm, has anyone found a workaround for this?

    As the title says, hubspot can’t attribute leads/contacts to Ads that appear on Instagram. Apart from building separate landing pages for each and every campaign/adset/ads or using a boatload of different hubspot forms to track leads that came from those ads, is there any workaround out there that allows to attribute leads to those ads?

    I would be grateful for any ideas, insights or resources out there. Thank you!

    Spit-balling here, using GTM, and prior to any coffee:

    – Make sure your ads have UTM parameters that show the source, campaign, ad set, and ad in values
    – Create a custom HTML tag that stores UTM variables in local storage
    – Create the different UTM variables
    – Set up a custom field in Hubspot for the UTM parameters
    – Modify the Hubspot tracking code to pass the different UTM values in their respective custom fields
    – You can then see in Hubspot which UTMs drove the conversation
