Title: 100 → 1K → 5K → 10K on Instagram. For anyone who’s been through it, what made the difference?

I hope all is well, I believe this is my first time posting on reddit but been a long time user (mainly reading & learning)
Currently facing a challenge: "How to grow your IG account from scratch?"
Growing an Instagram account takes real effort and those of you who've done it have learned things the hard way that the rest of us are still figuring out.
We just started out and would love to hear from anyone who's been through the stages:
- How to get to 1k
- How to get to 5k
- How to get to 10k
- …
Not to shortcut the work, but to learn from people who've actually walked the path.
- What's something that helped you at any stage? Big or small.
- Do you certain tools, library, recourses you use to gain inspiration on posting ideas, formats etc?
Hoping this thread becomes something useful for anyone on the same journey, not just us.
Quick not on current ideas:
- Organically reach out to interesting profiles to co-post about XYZ
- Try to find ways/reasons for a PR boost but is a lot of work
