TikTok Strategy Advice Needed (Big Growth)
Hey everybody! So, about a month ago I started a TikTok account about an anime/manga I like because I thought it was underrepresented on TikTok. In only 27 days I’ve gained 52,000 followers and I’m feeling blessed that I formed a hub for other fans of the show to come and chill at. Within the last few days though, I’ve had the itch to talk about other series because I am a fan of other series and it would be fun to talk about them. I asked my audience today if I were to talk about other series, what series would they want me to talk about. I got tons of suggestions which is great but I also got a few recommendations, so I was wondering which option would be the best choice to continue the growth of my “brand,” if that’s what you can call it.
1.) I should continue to only make the same videos about the anime/manga series the channel is based on and create a whole other TikTok account to post about any other series I want to talk about. (My worry: Splitting my work into two different accounts could be tedious. As of right now, I’ve found a sweet spot where I can make 3 high-quality videos a day, but if I have two accounts, I would probably make 2 videos a day for the original account to maintain growth, but that would only leave me with 1 video a day for the account where I talk about any series. Growth isn’t as fast with 1 video per day, from my current knowledge and experience)
2.) I start slowly introducing videos about other series onto my account that I have already grown to 52,000 followers (which may I remind you, like 490/500 of the comments I got on my poll video today were people saying we support you no matter what or series suggestions, implying that they would love to see more from other series). So, over time my account would become an anime/manga account that talks in-depth about 3-4 different series.
2.5) On my account that I already grew, just start making 50% of the content about the main anime/manga and the other 50% of content about other series. (My worry: Posting 50% about other content, even though the original content still takes up the majority, would turn off a handful of fans that only followed for the original anime/manga the account revolves around)
I’m open to any advice, I’m just not sure about the best route to take. Thanks, guys.
