TikTok asking to switch to Business Account?
Posted by on February 25, 2021 at 1:13 pmMy business uses TikTok as a brand building tool to provide valuable content to a pretty large following. We have amassed a following of over 400k and typically get between 75k-1mil views per video. The goal of this account is purely to build the brand and is not focused on directing people to our ecommerce site. Our website link is in the bio but we are not trying to use the platform to sell. We just want to provide valuable content.
My question is if we switch from a ‘Creator Account’ to a ‘Business Account’ – will this affect the algorithm? We are seeing solid momentum so I am not really inclined to change anything unless there are benefits of switching to a business account.
Does anyone have info/experience on this? -
