Thoughts on Ubersuggest?
Posted by on January 1, 2026 at 11:40 amHey all, Im a wedding photographer who also runs a couple of other small busineses/sites (for myself, my wife and my sister).
Ive been looking at Semrush, but the cost is simply not workable. I've come across Ubersuggest, and they are running a promotion (i know… it's meaningless) but the cost is very affordable. And on the face of it it looks pretty amazing. I've signed up for a trial and Im pretty impressed.
But here's the thing – am I missing something here? Does anyone have any positive/negative thoughts on it? I dont want to get ripped off basically.

If you are pretty impressed with the trial then you are all good.
I personally don’t find them particularly usefully, and stopped using them after two weeks, but that’s okay. -
It’s an entry level SEO tool really compared to things like SEMRush and AHREFs but if you’re not a seasoned SEO pro and just need some insights into your own small sites and your competitors it’ll probably be fine.
I bought a lifetime deal they had a few years ago for like $199 or something and at that price it was worth it for the use I’ve had from it.
Paying for SEMRush or AHREFs if you’re not a professional SEO is overkill really.

Paying for semrush or ahrefs if you are not doing this daily is too much. You are easy at 140-300$ / mo.
We went with rankpilot.dev for content generation, auto backlink exchange and ubersuggest is also quite okay option

If Ubersuggest were free, I would say it was overpriced.

Google Analytics and Google Search Console are free. Are you using those?

I’ve been using sitechecker.pro for a bit, just to see what it does and although I’m pretty new to it, it feels like what Samrush used to be. A simpler version. I haven’t been able to compare or test the accuracy of the data, but things like the on-site stuff is pretty solid.
