The Google Ads UI is so buggy & laggy since they added all this AI crap into it
Posted by on March 24, 2026 at 1:30 amDoubt it's just me as this is the case on multiple different devices & browsers I've tried, but ever since Google started shoehorning all this bloated "AI" crap into the Google Ads interface, I've been having constant issues with things timing out, various sections or widgets on the page not loading properly, weird 'caching' type issues where data is wrong unless you force a hard refresh in the browser, etc.
All for absolutely minimal benefit from the actual functionality they've added which is pretty much trash. Please tell me this isn't just a placebo effect & others have seen this too?

Fair. I often have to refresh screens multiple times to make simple changes. This isn’t exactly new, but it has gotten worse lately.

Not placebo, its gotten measurably worse. The asset library page alone takes 8-10 seconds to load now when it used to be instant. Google Ads Editor for anything bulk is basically mandatory at this point because the web UI chokes on complex campaigns.
