Subject: I just got banned for nothing, and I’m sick of 'AI Moderation'
I’ve finally hit my breaking point. I just got banned on both Instagram and TikTok, and I can say with 100% certainty: I did nothing wrong. We are living in an era where trillion-dollar companies have completely replaced human judgment with flawed AI. They treat their algorithms as if they are infallible gods, but in reality, they are messy, glitchy, and ruining the user experience. You can’t appeal, you can’t talk to a human, and you’re basically "guilty until proven innocent"—except you never get the chance to prove anything.
I genuinely miss the old social media. Remember the early days? It was about actually connecting with people, sharing photos without fearing a bot would misinterpret a caption, and having a feed that felt organic. Now, it’s just an endless loop of AI-driven garbage and aggressive moderation that bans real users while letting actual bot farms slide.
Is anyone else feeling this? It feels like we are being pushed out of the very platforms we helped build, all because these companies would rather trust a broken line of code than a human being.

the part about instagram and tiktok killing the social experience really resonates, tbh social media’s been feeling kinda hollow lately, like we’re all just scrolling through curated highlight reels instead of actually interacting with each other
