Hello, I recently switched niche a few weeks ago from empowering the LGBTQ+ community to menswear brand partnerships and self care. Should I delete my older videos so my videos are pushed out to my new demographic?

Also any advice on buying followers/ promoting posts on TikTok to get to 1k quicker?

    Thanks

TikTok mostly shows content based on what people interact with, so your new niche content will naturally reach the right audience over time. Buying followers isn’t worth it, it won’t give real engagement. Focus on posting consistently, using hashtags, and engaging with similar content. That will get you to 1k followers much more sustainably.

Don’t delete the old vids. TikTok doesn’t care if you switched lanes, it pushes content based on what ppl engage with rn. Getting rid your old vids is proof that you’ve been consistent. pivot forward, don’t erase the past. Instead, double down on your new lane by posting more of the content you want TikTok to push. The algo learns from consistency, not from deleting. As for buying followers → waste of $$ tbh. Fake followers don’t engage, which destroys your reach. Better to promote a single banger post w/ TikTok’s native promote tool or just grind organic until you hit 1k.
