I was stuck at 390 views for months. Tried every tactic, watched countless breakdowns, posted consistently. Nothing budged. My videos always stalled at 340-620 views no matter what I tested. I was starting to accept maybe I just couldn't crack it.

Then I stopped following cookie-cutter advice and actually fixed what was holding me back. My views went from 390 to regularly breaking 20k+. Same niche, same format, just eliminated the mistakes keeping me trapped.

If you're stuck at low views like I was, here's what actually worked:

    1. Make your hooks absurdly specific, not just compelling. Avoid general openings. "Social media tips" dies in one second. Be exact about the result: "How I went from 600 followers to 14k in 8 weeks by changing one thing in my content structure." Specific hooks stop the scroll dead. Generic ones keep you stuck forever.

    2. Maintain energy past your opening hook. Most videos tank around second 13 to 17 because the pace dies. You grab attention then lose steam. Keep varying what's visible, your delivery rhythm, or the info you're dropping. When momentum stops, viewers bounce.

    3. Make sure visuals are always shifting. Staying on one shot past a few seconds obliterates retention. Quick transitions, angle changes, minor movements keep people engaged. Static footage gets skipped instantly regardless of value. Visual dynamics are critical.

    4. Add elements that encourage rewatching. The algorithm massively favors videos people watch more than once. Include fast text that's hard to fully read first time, or background elements people catch on round two. Zero rewatch value means zero algorithmic support.

    5. Analyze your videos and learn from their feedback. The difference between pros and new creators is that pros analyze their videos and fix what they do wrong, so they're always improving. I use an app called TikAlyzer that gives me feedback about my videos and how to improve them so I can get more views.

    6. Fix lighting issues immediately. Awful lighting destroys trust before your first word. Everyone's feed is too refined now for amateur lighting to pass. Solid lighting establishes credibility instantly. Bad lighting triggers instant scrolls.

Once I applied these six things every single time, my views surged from 390 to 20k+ per video. Same content focus. Same personality. I just stopped making the mistakes that were burying me.

If you're stuck at low views, you're hitting these same problems. Fix them and watch what happens.

Well done, that is some great advice! when creators are stuck, I always say “think value first” the rest will follow.
