TikTok’s low views are really starting to annoy me. I’m trying to become a content creator for my gaming channel by posting clips and other content, but I can’t seem to get past 100 views anymore. I used to hit 1,000 views pretty easily, but now my videos barely get any reach at all.

I’ve tried everything people suggest, like deleting and reposting, but that doesn’t work anymore. It feels like the algorithm changed after the update, and now it’s so much harder to grow or even get noticed. It’s honestly frustrating because I used to love this app, but now it just feels discouraging and not as fun as it used to be.

I spend time recording, editing, and trying to make my content better, but it feels like none of that effort is paying off. It makes me lose motivation, especially when I see other videos doing well while mine don’t get pushed out at all. I really want to grow my gaming channel, but right now it feels like I’m stuck and don’t know what else to try.

the part about being stuck at 100 views on TikTok sounds like a classic case of the algorithm not picking up your content, did you try switching up your hashtags or posting at a different time to see if that makes a difference

You’re probably not shadowbanned, this is usually a packaging + retention issue.

If you want to debug it fast, run a 10-post test with one format:

    1) 7-12 sec clips only (gaming clips die if intros are too long)
    2) Hook in first 1-2 sec, outcome first, context second
    3) On-screen text with a specific promise (“How I won this 1v3 with 8 HP”)
    4) Cut every dead frame, no pauses
    5) Post 1-2x/day at consistent times for a week

    Track just 3 metrics:
    – 2-second hold rate
    – average watch time
    – rewatches/shares

If hold rate is low, fix first frame/hook.
If watch time drops mid-video, tighten pacing and remove setup.
If retention is decent but reach is low, test 3 hook styles on similar clips.

Deleting/reposting usually hurts more now. Better to leave posts up and learn from the pattern.

Im in the same page, my low end videos were receiving at least 10-25k views and even a couple with 80k+ views. After a month “finals” break to study and the change in algo, Im lucky if they hit 500 views… and most have been dying within the 200 views, it feels like swimming uphill. I wonder if it truly is the new algorithm or if my account did a hard reset after my break….
