Starting SEO – What should i choose Cloudways or Digiral Ocean?
Posted by on May 6, 2020 at 4:37 pmI have just learned SEO from Moz Academy(free during lockdown). Now, i want to start implementing all the things i have learned. So, the first stage is buying a hosting. Now, some people are recommending to buy 10$ Cloudways digital ocean plan while some are saying to buy it directly from digital ocean for 5$. I have never bought a web hosting in the past. What should i begin with as a beginner?

It doesn’t matter as if you are serious about this you will likely try a few different hosts over the next few months and years. That’s how you learn.
right now I have 3 hosts (down from about 6) that I use for development and client hosting. Each has its perks and drawbacks. What I have now works best for me and my clients but I’m always looking for something better.
There is no magic silver bullet just like there’s no “perfect host”. You start with one and move on.
And you will also find that hosting changes. I have had a dreamhost account for years and I actually started moving sites off of it to other hosts because it was getting more and more unreliable. But then something changed. They upgraded my hosting to new servers and added a bunch of new services for free, and now it’s one of my favorite hosts.

If you want to learn linux grab a hetzner vps. If you want something already setup there are more than enough options.
