GuestJanuary 4, 2021 at 12:40 pmAt least 20-25. Probably dependent on the niche that either it’s micro or macro. As a content writer and keyword researcher, I’ll suggest to find at least 30 keywords with minimum competition before starting.

GuestJanuary 4, 2021 at 1:32 pmI thought you have to target two or three keywords per page and use it those keywords wisely in Title, Content Body and Meta Description as well. if you want to search keyword for whole website then multiply that number by the range of keywords per page (1-4) to get your range.

GuestJanuary 4, 2021 at 1:33 pmThere’s no real set number of keywords to go for when you’re performing research, because depending on your niche/intent, there may be few or many keywords that you can go for.
I’d always prioritise based on the intent of the user, as this will help you target keywords that will lead to a desired action on the website.

I recommend you to start from research the topic of page/site/blog. Keyword volume, difficulties, and other indicators mean nothing for SEO purposes. Try to use common search queries and Google’s suggestions. Write the content, add to page, collect data from Gogle Search Console. If you content is not indexed by Google in few days, you need to rewrite your content.
Once you start to collect data you can see truly visitors queries. These queries allow you to improve your content.
Please, don’t use SEO tools to provide keywords research. You must understand your target audience.

GuestJanuary 4, 2021 at 5:04 pmIt’s important to focus on long-tail keywords with less competition, rather than a number of keywords.
With less competition, you can reach people who are searching for your products or services.
Do more research on how your competitors are ranking high.
Make a sheet and analyze each and every keyword. Discover more keywords from Google keyword planner which is a free tool.
Make a list of keywords that are relevant to your niche and don’t forget to do some research for more traffic-generating keywords.

Don’t just look at keywords, look at what’s needed for a given topic. Google looks at context even more than the keywords you work with. In essence, keywords are just an indicator what your visitors are looking for. They’re not the ultimate answer.
To get the best results, commit to high quality content. You’re better of with a smaller number of keywords/topics in the beginning. Create the best content you can. Then, keep expanding while improving the quality of what you put out.
If you’re not sure of what Google looks out for, in terms for quality, do a search for manual raters guidelines.
