    My ads guy is hesitating to start testing more kws, we saw few conversions and he just increased budget of it.

    You need to provide more details and what your primary question is:

    * I assume your question is: How do I get 100x more leads on adwords
    * What is your business vertical/what are you selling
    * What is your target cost per lead
    * What is your expected closing rate
    * How do you know what your competitor is receiving? Do you know their lead to sale conversion rate? He could be generating junk and closing nothing?
    * What Geographical region are you targeting
    * What is the cost for your product/service and vs your competition
    * Do you have analytics, tracking and lead attribution reports?

    Why is he hesitant to test new keywords? Are the suggested new keywords perhaps top of funnel or research related keywords such as identity fraud vs identity fraud software?

    We need more information to be helpful. But in any case, just adding budget to the campaigns without other changes will not do much. You’re just gonna get more of the same traffic. Not all clicks are equal so find which clicks are more important for you and only spend on those.

    * Check all places where you can apply bid adjustments (device, demographics, audience, locations, etc.) and decrease bids for traffic that do not bring in result.
    * Add observation audiences if you haven’t already.
    * Always check your search terms report for irrelevant traffic.
