Someone hacked my account and they’re not reversing charges.. Facebook ads.

Posted by seohelper on January 15, 2021 at 8:18 pm

So I noticed about $200+ worth of charges on my Facebook ads account after checking my PayPal. I contacted Facebook business support about it and they said “you agreed when you authorized this purchase” or whatever. Then I replied back, telling them I was hacked and everything it wasn’t me, then they reply with “we can’t help you with this matter”. Any idea what I should do? Really can’t afford paying out $200 in unauthorized charges.

I also contacted them again and they said the same thing. The hacker promoted some healing type product, is there anyway to get my money back from Facebook or what should i do?

Eat the $200 and move on.

Its very likely your fault your account was “hacked” and if you decide to charge it back with PayPal (which you can do), facebook will just shut down your account. Take it as a $200 learning lesson to secure your account better and get on with it.
