So my uncle runs a small business and he got a call the other day.
The guy said he can “remove” all the bad Google reviews for a fee.

It sounds tempting… but also kind of shady.
    Can anyone actually guarantee this?
Or is it more of a trick? How does it actually work?

Just want to understand how these people really do it before he makes a move.

100% pure scam. The only one that can remove Google reviews is Google.

Most services I know only get paid, when they are able to remove the review. Has worked for us in the past, so I would not call it a scam in general, like the guy in the other comment

Nobody can guarantee review removal unless the review breaks Google’s policies (spam, hate, fake, etc.). These services usually just spam flags, add fake positives, or do shady stuff.. risky and not sustainable.

Best bet → flag policy violations, reply professionally, and focus on getting more real happy customers to leave reviews. That’s the only fix that lasts.

Nope. But doesn’t Google remove spams anyway?

We almost hired one of these companies. Their strategy wasn’t to delete the reviews but bury them with a bunch of fake 5-star reviews.
