How do you guys nicely explain to your clients that social media management alone is mainly for building a brand presence and does not always lead to sales/conversions?
Well it might not directly lead to sales but it’s absolutely part of the decision making funnel

“Sales is a process, not an event”
The two things a prospect needs to have with in order to give a “yes” is trust and to have you top-of-mind. This is what social media management and interaction aims to accomplish.

It completely depends on what tools and approaches you’re using in social media – it can completely be used for driving sales and lower funnel engagements. And in a world where ROI is king, it’s getting harder and harder to convince a brand to spend money on something like “brand building” when they don’t see a clear return on their bottom line.
