Social media makes me feel like a failure and I don’t know what to believe anymore
Since March I've been posting consistently (3 to 5 times a week) on Instagram as an aspiring author, but my reach is at an all time low (less than 100 views per video this week). It makes me feel like an absolute failure, because every week I think I'm improving my content only to be proven wrong after posting.
I must be failing at something, but I'm kind of at my rock bottom and I don't know how to climb out of it even though I don't mind working hard (and I am, it's just not good enough apparently). I guess I just kind of want to have some perspective from other people.
So, with this post I was wondering:
– Is it able to revive an Instagram-account with terrible reach?
– Is growing your reach steadily still a thing? You know finding your audience at a steady pace. Creators often talk about their content suddenly taking of, but then they also say things like that they have achieved 10.000 followers within 3 months. It kind of makes me feel hopeless because I'm at 600 followers after 9 months of posting.I just want to know if there's people out there who were struggling like me but figured it out for themselves? In other words: is there any hope for me?
