Small Wix Issue
Posted by on June 1, 2020 at 7:59 pmSo I have a client that has a wix website (yes I know). There is a page that shows different products and I put a “see specifications” link and when you click on it a lightbox pops up showing more specs of the generator. There are 12 lightboxes on the page and it is being seen as 12 pages with duplicate meta descriptions.
I feel that if I put the 12 specifications directly on the page the page will get heavier than it already is because all drag and drop sites have a ton of javascript that you can’t minify.
Reason why the site wasn’t moved is because the client had already dumped about $500 into it.
Any suggestions?

NVM…I turned the links to no follow….duhhhhh

For all intents and purposes, it won’t matter if they’re indexed. Add a no index tag rather than a no follow tag to stop the page housing the light boxes from passing PR but it’s not a serious issue.
