Should i start over on tiktok?
Posted by on January 6, 2026 at 8:23 pmhey so i have 75k followers on tiktok and i do ootd checks, i grew from 15k to 75k in 2024 but then after a break (3 months ish) my reach and engagement sucks.
i used to get AT LEAST 10k views and had a good engagement rate, but now i can barely get past 500 views.
i’ve been posting consistently (1-2 times a day) for months now with no change happening.should i just start over with a new account?

I would say wait for a bit, there is so much noise after Christmas & New Year’s Resolutions etc everyone is giving out free advice & marketing themselves to the 100’s but it will doe down soon. Do not lose this account

I don’t think starting a new account is going to change anything for you, but I could be wrong. Also, if you are in the US, I heard the algorithm is changing starting 1/27 as that portion of TikTok has been sold, but Bytedance did not sell their algorithm, so I would probably just ride it out and just start experimenting with new things.
