  • Should I launch my social media business right now, or wait until after Covid?

I am planning on launching a social media marketing business (focus on Facebook ads). I filed an LLC, have my website up and running, and have put a little bit of money into it. I am just wondering how the climate is out there to get new clients for Facebook Ads during Coronavirus. Are you finding success in getting clients for Facebook ads, or should I wait until this all dies down?

There are still industries that are doing very well during the shutdown. No reason why a well though out marketing plan wouldn’t be welcome. Nearly any company that still has a budget would be an opportunity. Why wait man? Just start, but start with laser focus, know your customer, their needs, their audience, and go to town!

If you have time to start the business, you can start by producing content and marketing yourself. Get the engine revved up which will help you if you are hitting up a business now or waiting. That is based on a ton of parameters (ie who are you targeting for your customers).

Why wait? There are businesses who are booming, and more than ever people are thinking about how to go digital. Since March we have on-boarded 1 new client a week.
