Should I include hashtags in my Twitter bio?
Posted by seohelper on November 6, 2020 at 5:11 pmI heard very different opinions. Someone says that it helps you to appear in search, but others say that it doesn’t work and that hashtags provide a distraction to the reader. What do you think?

GuestNovember 6, 2020 at 7:26 pmTwitter search is very good (relative to the other social platforms) therefore if you’re bio is optimized for keywords without sounding spammy, you’ll get more far more traction than by using hashtags IMO.

GuestNovember 6, 2020 at 9:47 pmIs that how you find people? Is that a successful strategy for you? Then do it. If not, don’t. I kind of feel like having the right keywords is enough. No need to add the #

GuestNovember 6, 2020 at 10:15 pmThe only time I would add a hashtag is if you have a company or brand hashtag that is always used.

GuestNovember 7, 2020 at 12:11 amit can look almost a bit thirsty. If you’re doing it, just keep it to a couple that summarise what you post about or the brand hashtag that you use aott. It could possibly prevent unfollows – reminding followers what you’re all about/jogs their memory if they haven’t looked at your profile for a while. Sometimes people are ‘err who are you again?’ and j just unfollow rather than having a closer look

GuestNovember 7, 2020 at 6:53 amI think you should not if you are representing any brand or any figure because adding hashtags in bio is not that much professional
