Shopify SEO problems
Posted by on July 20, 2020 at 9:57 pmI have a site on Shopify (this website has been active now for a little over a year, with a current authority score of 13 according to SEMrush).
As the business has grown, I have been putting more effort into writing content to get organic traffic to the shop. The majority of blog posts have been added in the last month or two.
I submitted the XML sitemap to Google, but very few of the blog posts are being indexed.
I know Shopify has some issues with SEO, especially with hosting a blog there.
I am wondering:
1) If I should consider moving either the main site + blog or just blog to wordpress, and keeping product pages/collections on Shopify
2) If there’s anything I can do from the Shopify side to make Google like my blog more.

So take a url thats not being index, inspect it GSC. Whats it say exactly.
