Hello my fellow humans. As you all know from me, I am always looking for the best seo tools to help me out. Does anyone know any services worth checking out. Trying to see if there is anything new worth looking at. Cheers!

Whatever you do, stay away from SEO PowerSuite. Their software suite continues to get worse and worse. Their keyword rank tracking is down to the top 20 (assuming the num100 change) and you can only check rankings it every 2 days. I’m finally moving our agency away from it.

I’ve been trying out SE Ranking this month after getting fed up with Semrush (and the Adobe sale). It’s quite decent so far and much more reasonably priced, but I haven’t run it through its paces fully yet.

In my daily workflow, I mainly rely on Chrome extensions for quick SEO checks.

    • BeyondTen – shows 100 Google results on one page
    • Wappalyzer – identifies the site’s tech stack
    • Ahrefs SEO Toolbar – instant SEO metrics
    • Ubersuggest – quick traffic overview
    • Detailed SEO Extension – fast on-page audits
    • Keywords Everywhere – keyword ideas
    • Word Counter & Grammarly – for clean, optimized copy

If your employer provides a paid Semrush or Ahrefs account, great. If not, these extensions handle most tasks.
Also, AnswerThePublic, Writerzen is very useful for finding question-based search queries. Guess this might be helpful.

I think Claude Code (or at least the UX of it) is going to become _the_ way that people interact and get things done in our niche. It’s like a swiss army knife of SEO tools that magically spawns even more specialized tools at the drop of a hat.

And maybe thats sort of a general theme, that it’s the AI tools that are really leading to SEO + Marketing productivity and not so much specialized “SEO” tooling.

Here’s a couple other recommendations from someone asking about AI + marketing tools the other day:

    – OpenRouter for swapping AI backends for scripts + cost + uptime
    – Grammarly (for being “old”) is still pretty tremendous for getting a consistent tone of brand voice and better quality content.
    – SendCheckIt has a really interesting “Cadence Colorizer” which helps beat the boring ai rhythms out of AI generated text for posts
    – Knowatoa AI for relevancy tracking + visibility
    – Canva for automated report generation
