What are things you include in an SEO status report for a client? I don’t want to overwhelm them with too much information.

100% agree – I do very simple reports and was worried they would feel they aren’t getting their money’s worth. But business owners are busy, they just need to highlights, feel free to make a 20 page appendix if you want but don’t overwhelm them with jargon!

For my local SEO clients, I just show them the screenshots of results, like where we were before the start of the month and where we are at the end of the month. Additionally, I also include backlink reports when showing the results.
