  SEO Best Practices

  I have been very about performing best practices for all of our seo clients, and recently I have come across something that has me thinking. We have a few webpages run by a local seo company that are always placing very high in search. I realized that their seo strategy is not what is considered best practices. For instance, their meta title and tags are not optimal length or structure. One example – when talking about a home inspection company they use things like Best home inspector, home inspectors near me, local home inspection company, home inspection companies in “”. Rather than correct formatting and length.

  In addition, they are copying and pasting articles word for word for content.

  My question, how is this working? It is making me seriously consider using these tactics and seeing if it pushes my pages up higher than organic natural SEO does. I would love to hear from some others and find out if this is a common practice I am missing out on or what could be happening. Thank you for your time!
