Semrush Free Trial?
Posted by on December 19, 2025 at 9:16 pmI’m looking to get into e-commerce and I’m about to start a free trial with SEMrush. I’m completely new to this.
Before I jump in, I wanted to ask:
Does the free trial actually give access to most of SEMrush’s core tools?
Is it beginner-friendly if you’re new to e-commerce and SEO?
Any tips or things I should watch out for during the trial? -

I’m hearing some negative things about that right now. People being charged even if they leave the trial etc. I can’t say they’re true but if you research right here on Reddit you’ll get the information.
If you just getting started start with Google tools by the way. They’re free.

I used to advocate for SEMRush, but they are complete trash now
If you want organic keyword data, it might be useful
For everything else, skip it

Run away. Search the semrush Reddit for issues about getting trials and getting charged or battling to cancel etc. go in eyes open
