As an Indian content creator settled in the West, and I'm looking for advice on what type of content would be more useful and relevant for my audience. I'm interested in exploring niche areas that cater to the Indian diaspora.
Questions:
- What type of content do you think would resonate with the Indian audience?
- Are there any specific niche areas that you think are underserved or in demand?
- How can I make my content more relatable and engaging for my target audience?
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
PS: I'm open to exploring various formats, including videos, blogs, podcasts, or social media posts.

Hello! Fellow SMM manager here, worked for a South Asian publication previously.
You’re asking a very broad question; all forms of content would resonate with an Indian audience, because there are many different Indian audiences. I think a better starting point would be to actually settle on a specific genre of content i.e. Fashion, Music, Art, and then find a specific niche within that. For example, a platform centered on Indian Contemporary Artists in the West.
Generally, Sports, Celebrity and Cultural platforms are always in demand, so that could be a starting point – but it’s really best to lead with gut, and build a channel that resonates with you, which in turn, should resonate with many others just like you.

The most easy and intersting content your friend can create vlogging. And share daily knowledge with indian audience. visits places nearby. talk to people there. find fellow indians and talk to them. Yes this is also a great content for indian audience.
