    Search ads performance

Posted by seohelper on August 10, 2021 at 7:41 pm

Has anyone experienced a dip in the search ads performance in the recent months, particularly in the services industry? The number and quality of lead has significantly gone down. I have noticed that impressions has gone down as well.

My clients are primarily in SaaS, and I’m experiencing the opposite of what you’re seeing. Volume is consistent or increasing, and one of my clients are hitting back-to-back record numbers, as we’ve grown paid ad spend from $35k to $75k in the last three months, and are looking to grow spend further.

    Google, no.

    Facebook, yes.

We help a handful of small to midsize local services companies, and I’d actually say Google Ads has been doing exceptionally well lately.

Specifically, one of our smallest clients spends <$1k/mo on Google Ads, but they are able to book $10k+ in revenue from Google Ads alone.

However, this may have a lot to do with specific governmental restrictions in your area. Are you working in a region which has been forced to lock down? That has really affected the business of many local service companies. Our clients are mostly in an essentially unrestricted region.

Depends on the industry niche. Seasonality, post-covid demand changes and a shift in spending patterns are evident. The last few months have been a total reverse of 2021 yoy for us.
