I’ve been using scraped lists from Instagram in Facebook Ads for a while. There are a couple of things you should know about this approach.
You can only get banned if you use scraped data without making sure that the emails are valid or targeted.
* 30-40% of all emails on Instagram (or anywhere on the web) are invalid emails ie. catch-all, bots, fake accounts, etc.
* Another 10% are simply business emails like contact@, info@.
When adding the list on Facebook you can raise some red flags and risk losing your account – I’ve learned this the hard way.
However, after working with an Instagram email extracting service that validates and offers additional targeting options, I had no such problems.
Through retargeting, lookalikes, and cold/warm emails a constant 13x ROAS.
