I’ve been sitting on this for a bit, but figured I’d finally share. I run a local home service business, and like most small business owners, getting customers to leave a Google review has been painfully slow. Everyone says they will, but very few actually do it. Even when I follow up nicely. After two years, I had 4 reviews. And they were good ones! But let’s be honest, people scroll right past listings with single-digit reviews.

I came across Reviewfame randomly while doing some research. It looked cleaner than a lot of the review sites I’d seen (some of them give total scam vibes), so I decided to try it out with a small order, just a few Google reviews using my own text, nothing crazy.

The whole process was surprisingly smooth. I didn’t need to create an account or anything. I just picked the number of reviews I wanted, dropped in the info they asked for (business name, Google link, and the custom review texts), and paid. First review showed up the next day, and the others trickled in over a few days after that, not all at once, which made it feel way more natural.

The review profiles looked decent. Some had photos, some didn’t, but none of them looked like throwaway accounts. The writing was exactly what I’d sent, just slightly tweaked to sound more natural. And the best part? Nothing sketchy happened after. My Google listing stayed stable, reviews are still up, and honestly, I’ve gotten a few more calls since then. Could just be timing, but I think the extra reviews helped make me look more legit.

So for anyone wondering, is Reviewfame legit? In my experience, yeah. I’m not saying it’s a replacement for real customer feedback, but if you’re stuck with just a few reviews and no one ever leaves any, it’s a solid way to boost your presence without going overboard.
    What I liked:

You can actually send in your own review text

->Timing was realistic, not all dumped in 1 hour

->My listing now has 9 total reviews and gets more traffic

->No issues with Google, no weird activity, nothing suspicious

Let me know if anyone else has tried them, curious to hear if results vary. Thinking about testing their Trustpilot service next.
