    Hello!

So, I started a new job as a social media manager, they said they already have accounts created. Its been A MESS. They had no idea of the mails or passwords, but finally Im in.

First I manage to lock in in Facebook, but I had to recover the portfolio (lets name it Portfolio 1) from another account (get in with another mail of the previous agency and gave me full access). Then I had to delete some Portfolio 2, that had some restrictions coz lack of payment.

Then I had to erase an Instagram account #1 that was linked to Business Portfolio 1 but was not the one management wanted to recover.

Then I manage to recover the correct Instagram account (Insta #2), and I also had to change passwords and pay expired bills.

Now, I do have access to Facebook Page #1, Business Portfolio #1, Personal Account for Marketplace #1 and Instagram Account #2. BUT I cannot for my mothers love add this Instagram account to that Business Portfolio. It appears it is inside a Business Portfolio #3 at which I have no access and no one has any idea of mail, password or previus owner. This Business Portfolio (#3) has some restrictions, so I am not allowed to use the INstagram Account.

I already try to turn de Ig account into a personal one, but nothing works. Instagram tells me everything its fine, and then Facebook wont let me add it to the portfolio.

TLDR: Is there any way to remove an Instagram account from a Business Portfolio without having access to the Facebook page?

If there’s no access to the old Business Portfolio, you’re basically stuck.

You can’t remove that Insta account the normal way through Meta Business Suite. The only real path is to contact Meta Support and ask them to release it for you.

Otherwise you’ll need the original Portfolio owner to hand access over.
