    Remarketing on Google ADS

Posted by LazyNashAzome on September 16, 2025 at 11:12 am

Throughout my accounts, remarketing was rarely a ROAS-producing campaign on its own. I recently been contacted to set up Google Ads account only for remarketing and I feel like it's not worth it. Do you have any great strategies that worked on remarketing? (Without using PMAX)

While I believe that dynamic marketing is pretty great but the client only has one product, and I ussualy create remarketing campaigns to add more "consideration"

Don’t set up a new ad account just for remarketing. Not every ecom site will make remarketing work. If you have tried changing the ad copy and tweaking the remarketing campaigns, then maybe it is not something that works for this clients.

With just one product, remarketing alone rarely scales—works better as a support layer for search or shopping, not a standalone ROAS driver.

For One product remarketing would rarely work.

A new account for remarketing? Who reached out and told you to set up a new account for that? Remarketing works really well if you have high traffic and a high number of products.

Remarketing only works when paired with strong prospecting volume for a single product the play is frequency capped display and YouTube sequences to push hesitant visitors back to checkout.
