Recommended Advertising Platform For Promoting Android and iOS Apps?

I’ve tested Facebook ads with $30, and I didn’t get a single install. I don’t know if it’s because of the low budget or maybe I did something wrong on setting it up.
What are your recommendations for promoting mobile apps? I’m only willing to spend $100-200, just to test it out, and I don’t think I will be doing this for the long run. I just want to try to get some initial installs.

1. Select the proper Campaign objective (E.g. App Install)
2. It might be possible that the artwork or the description of the application is not attractive enough that people don’t want to install that App.
3. Try to get the deep analytics like Facebook Pixel to get to know whether your ad is leading the people
