    Hi all,

I have recently been contracted by an SME to run their marketing. Part of the job involves SEO, which I have good experience with. I have, in a few weeks (hurray), managed to boost the company's ranking from second page to number 1/2 for 2 super important keywords they should have been targeting. I have others in mind and will implement soon.

HOWEVER, I am failing at CTR. Now, I know that AI overviews are generating a lot of 0 click searches nowadays BUT, for these 2 keywords I am working on, there are no AI overviews (niche technical/engineering offering). The meta description is good and well aligned.

What am I overlooking? Do I just need patience?

Try tweaking your title tag make it more enticing/curiosity-driven. Also, check if competitors snippets are just more compelling. Patience helps too!

Click through rate is extremely dependent on context. I would focus on other metrics and try to understand how SERPs are looking for what you want to rank for
