Alright, so I have a few really elementary questions on SEO.

I’ve using online resources/videos to learn more about digital marketing and SEO is a portion that I’m really struggling with. And I believe it’s because I don’t really have a good grasp on some basic SEO foundations and practice.

    1. What does a SEO strategy look like? Most courses talk about how doing keyword research is really good for your SEO strategy but what is an SEO strategy?

    2. Hypothetical situation, lets say I have a business selling iPhone Cases. And I found that the keywords “Green slim iPhone 11 charging case” is very relevant to my business with low competition.

What do I do with this information? What is the SEO strategy in using “Green slim iPhone 11 charging case”? Do I write a blog post about green slim iPhone cases (what if my website does not have a blog. Do I need to create a blog?)? Do I build a specific webpage for Green slim iPhone 11 charging cases?

    3. What websites can I visit that are well optimized for SEO, and how can I tell? I’d imagine that Nike’s website is well optimized for SEO but what portion of Nike’s website should I be looking at and say “that’s really good SEO”.

Same for poorly optimized SEO websites? How can I find a poor SEO website and know that its a poor website?

1- Theres a ton of information about what SEO strategy is out there so ill skip that one but basically a roadmap to deliver SEO improvements to rank for your money keywords and drive more traffic!

2- if you mean you have an e-commerce website and want to rank for X keyword. Use clear and targeted:
    – title and meta description
    – headings on page
    – faq
    – product schema
    – review
    – logical hierarchy and categories
    – alt text and descriptive image names
    – good internal linking structure
    – user friendly UI
    – meet web vitals minimum requirements
    – responsive design

Thats all i can think of and no you dont need a blog page for every single product. That would be silly. Research search intent on your free time.

3- find a hard to get into and competitive niche (e.g. beginners SEO guide) google it and its safe to say the top 3 website s are well optimized. Go to page 7, those guys aren’t!
