Question on Managing Facebook Events
Posted by on September 8, 2020 at 9:30 pmI manage a facebook page for a statewide advocacy organization for my profession. We’ve been doing events online due to COVID-19, so I’ve been posting those events on our facebook page. However, I can’t seem to view the guest list on facebook, even though I am the host. I tried clicking “export guest list” and got this error message:

>You cannot view guests for this event.What is going on here? How can I view the guests?
If there is no way to see them, any suggestions on how to send guests a Zoom link to the event? Is there a way to message everyone who RSVP’s?

We just talked to Facebook about it. Their response:
>This is normal behavior, as it would violate the privacy policy. It is no longer possible to export user data directly.
