Question about SM ad management pricing and service setup.
Hello all!
I run a one-man-show SEO / web design / digital marketing business and I’ve recently had an offer from an associate to be my Facebook ads guy. I’m excited about this proposition because it’s a service I don’t currently offer my clients and I can think of 3-4 clients off the top of my head who may be interested right off the bat if I pitch it to them.
I have very limited experience with Facebook advertising so I’m wondering how pricing generally works. Also, this associate would be basically doing the work while I generate leads and pass the work along to him. He has a full time job aside from this so … I would be the one having meetings with clients, doing phone calls & outreach, etc.
From my (limited) research I have determined that between $1000-2000 per month for local business SM ad management would be a good place to start. My questions are:
* Does your retainer normally include the cost of ads? Or do you have the client pay a retainer and then they also foot the bill for the ads they run?
* What would be a fair breakdown for paying this guy who wants to work for me? For instance, if I get a $1500/mo client, would I just take out taxes and then the remainder would be split 40/60 between me and him? How do you guys normally determine where that money goes?Thanks in advance! I’m happy to learn!
