People who are a marketing consultant/strategist/coach – how do you share your/your clients’ results on your social media/website?

I know for social media managers, designers, the do it all people, they show the designs and feed + analytics but if you just work as a strategist consultant – what do you share to build your social proof (besides client testimonials)?

As a brand, the first thing I look at is which brands did this person work with previously? are they in my niche? or better still, did he/she work with my competitors. Then, I want to look at the data and I’d expect to see whatever public data is out there (for example – following, views, engagements) and any additional data on sales or whatever the goal was – was it achieved. So a before and after would be great too.

I use SMM platform so reporting comes with the tool.
What worked, what didn’t, what’s our conclusion of the reasons, is virality repeatable or was it one-ff thing, etc. Just make it more goal oriented than dry numbers.
If you add dm automation to the mix, suddenly you are not reporting on likes and followers, but on sales pipeline and leadgen numbers 🙂

I often showcase case studies of successful campaigns I’ve worked on to build social proof. Additionally, highlighting any industry awards or certifications can also boost trust
