Predicting Clicks & Costs for Campaigns that are switched off?

Posted by seohelper on March 9, 2021 at 11:41 am

    Hello,

I’m trying to predict the costs and clicks for all of our PPC ad groups however it looks like the Google Ads resources (such as Bid Simulations) don’t work if the campaign is currently switched off?

Are there any resources that can give me a general idea of the current bidding landscape for that keyword/adgroup/campaign to decide whether we want to switch on or not before the fact?

    Thanks

You can create your own bid simulation using historical data and python. Or even Excel. I’m sure there are resources online that can make the task easier for you.

Only other place to look at potential bids is Google’s keyword planner.
