    It‘s a separate video. So it doesnt affect the trial reel.
    It could be that it still doesnt perform better (your edit made it worse or the content works better for non-followers than followers).

    Not really. If you re-upload with small tweaks (better hook, cleaner edit, captions), the algo usually treats it as a fresh post. Just don’t delete the original while it’s still getting views, let it run its course.

The trial gave you data: check retention curves and engagement rates in Insights. If the hook and first 3 seconds held strong, keep those exact. Fix only what clearly didn’t work.
