    PLEASE let your ads run…

Posted by seohelper on January 15, 2021 at 4:12 am

    In regards to FB ads:

Real quick post because a lot of the issues people have been posting the same question over and over. **Your FB ads aren’t going to get the same results every day.** I’m sorry, but that’s just not how it works.

On Monday and Tues you might be doing great but come Wednesday costs rise and things won’t seem to be working. Then Thursday it’s back to normal and Friday it’s a bit higher like Wed.

Let me be clear: this is NORMAL. This is how sales, business, mktg, literally everything works. You’re not going to find a magic machine that delivers the same results day in and day out. Expect variation!

Here’s the positive, however: this variation might happen every day, so start comparing things on a weekly basis. Look at things on a broad scale and you’ll come to realize that “Hey, everything is pretty even across the board!” it’s a wonderful epiphany.

So yes, keep those ads running if CPAs are a bit higher than normal. Wait it out, let the platform collect data and optimize, and you’ll be fine.

Note: Use this advice with common sense. If you start out at $10.00 CPAs and suddenly you’re at $200.00 CPAs, make some changes.

    Hope this helps 🙂

Yep, I would add the same thing about Amazon PPC! One month it’s good then it’s bad, just the way things are. Businesses and the economy at large go through short term and long term cycles. Fluctuations are normal!

I think this will be happening more now with the changes in regards to Apple. I’m having issues on a FB page and the concierge service told me yesterday they didn’t have an answer that things were changing too rapidly with pages, algorithms, and ads. 🙁

Thanks a lot, I knew this was the case but it’s nice to hear.

It is so frustrating when ads bring in 35 purchases 1 day, and then 10 the next. I’ve only been using FB for 4 months, so still lots to learn on that front.

Thanks, I needed this reminder. I went from $50/lead down to $13/lead and been super excited about this improvement. But starting to see some days where it’s reaching $25-$30/lead and I started worrying. But as you said, I should expect days like that.

I would look at it like this…

Do you weigh yourself every day? If not, you understand why. Your weight can shift from day to day.

If so, you probably have an electronic scale that syncs with an app to give you aggregate averages for weeks, months, and years.

    Same deal.

Yup make decisions on a weekly basis at the very least. Work with your roas and lifetime customer value.

Try telling that to one do the biggest auto clients in the world that have a terrible reputation for reliability :/

We did such good work last year, their best year in actual car sales, leads, UVs, everything, since 2017(!) which a lot was attributed from our digital activation, and the year has started sort of slow so questions are being asked from them about “how to improve it to be like last year” already

So I know this is normal, but what exactly causes the ebb and flow in the marketplace? Is it that one day your competitors are driving up CPM’s? Or is it a giant chunk of your audience is just offline that day?

During the election, it was so incredibly sporadic, but that makes sense when billions of dollars are being pumped into the system for one single event.
