When i started, i have a good knowledge of programming languages like C, C++, Java and also HTML, JavaScript, Visual Basic. But the problem is created when i cleared the interview and they offered me a job as an SEO analyst and i have not much knowledge about SEO but they tell me that they trained me well. But after a year, i have only off-page SEO knowledge and i think it’s not so much better because i want to learn programming and i totally confused now. Can anyone suggest me what can i do?
I want to be a programmer but my Sir tell me that to learn SEO is best for me. Is it right?
Please suggest me what is better for me, Learn Programming or Learn SEO?

I’m used to be in your situation 1 year ago, yes, I’m a web developer and want to learn SEO.
Now I’m seoer, coding helps me a lot in SEO.
BTW, do what you like, and i like doing SEO than code.
