Posted by on February 20, 2021 at 3:20 amwant to start vlogging but I’m undecided to choose between TIKTOK or YOUTUBE. I want to get extra income. I know I won’t start making money right away but its a start. I want to make vids about lifestyle and makeup reviews and this fitness challenge (because I want to lose weight and show my journey)
However, I do NOT want to share my links it to my Instagram or Facebook pages just because SOME of the people I have there are a little negative or some they don’t like me but they like to have me as a “Friend” lol so I want to wait till I get somewhere before I share my links lol.
but which platform is more convenient to at least earn a little income and more following +views?

You could always have a social detox and clean out all of the negative people. It makes life a lot easier. Think more about finding positive healthier people and pages to fill up your timeline.
Congrats on thinking about taking the first step. Make and do stuff that matters and see where it takes you.

Okay, I hear yah! I would like to say though, that whichever the platform you choose, you need an audience for it to grow. That may mean that the people who you mention don’t like you will come across it at some point. Don’t let other people dictate what you want to do or be creatively. It’s your life at the end of the day and those who seriously hate on you, it’s just not worth it. Negative or hateful people throw their insecurities on others and it’s wrong, but it matters how you choose to respond to that. Just do you!
You could use both TikTok and YouTube. You could have cuts of your vlog in the TikTok then “watch my full vlog on my YouTube channel, link in bio” or something where you don’t show the climax to your vlog in the TikTok, then “watch what happens next on my YouTube, link in bio”. Call to actions are pretty powerful and if you tell your audience to do something, more than likely, they will do it.
If you want to start on one, chose which you spend your most time on or what is easiest for you right now. If anything, TikTok is where it’s at then implement your YouTube. Hope this helped!
