I run a meme page where I’ve basically been reposting the same meme over and over for about two years. I copied the idea from another page and at first it actually worked some videos hit millions of views.

Now the page is pretty much dead, barely getting any views, and I kind of ignored it for a while. I’m starting to regret the content direction because I honestly hate the type of memes on the page.

I don’t want to just revive it by doing the same low-effort daily reposting again I actually want to create real content on the account or shift it into something better. Is there any realistic way to do that without completely killing the page? What should I do, and what should I definitely avoid?

I’ve been on the creator side for a while, and honestly… pages that grow on one repeatable meme format almost always hit this wall. The audience follows the pattern, not the creator, so once the pattern gets stale, reach drops hard.

You *can* shift it, just don’t shock the feed. Start mixing in the kind of content you actually want to make alongside the familiar stuff and let the audience adjust. When the tone changes gradually, platforms usually don’t punish it as much, and people don’t feel bait-and-switched.

Also, if you already hate the content, forcing yourself to keep posting the same thing rarely revives anything for long. Energy shows up in content more than people admit.

You may lose some followers during the pivot, but the ones who stay will actually care about what you’re making, and that’s way easier to build on than a big dead page.
