    Outsourcing – Ad Campaign Conversion Tracking

    Hi /r/PPC

    I am looking for feedback on a service I am developing called Measurely.io.

    It’s a service for freelancers and agencies that gives them access to a dedicated Google Tag Manager specialist who implements conversion tracking for their client ad campaigns.

    Think Facebook pixel implementation, Google Ads call forwarding, form tracking, etc.

    The intention here is to eliminate the headache of going back and forth with a developer when launching an ad campaign.

    I understand the service will not be needed by all PPC specialists as many setup conversion tracking themselves.

    Firstly, is this a service you would consider using and if not it would be great to know why e.g. it’s too expensive, I do It myself, etc.

    I’d consider it for my agency. That said, much of the work involved in setting up conversion tracking is reconciling the current website/landing pages, ad platforms, 3rd party systems (CallRail, Hubspot, Hotjar, and on), Analytics version, existing GTM, etc.

    Plus there is more to the setup than what happens inside of GTM. Often the larger part of the job is removing existing “crap” from the website. And, you still need to configure conversions in Google Analytics, import to Google Ads, set up the pixel in FB Ads, choose events… and so on.

    This is a small piece of a bigger puzzle.
