Our Google ranking dropped after we started using Ezoic. Anyone facing the same?

Another thing we also started using Rankmath instead of Yoast. We were getting daily 400 clicks from Google in April but it has dropped to 150 a day and only from those articles we wrote before changing the ad partners. Articles are ranking way low even after optimising thr keywords and LSI. Please help. Sorry for poor English.

I think the switch to ezoic is just correlated and not the causation.
Google’s massive algorithm change basically fucked most people — and it came out in early may 2020 so matches the timeline.
If you’ve installed ezoic correctly your site shouldn’t be too much slower, and bounce rate / site speed are not seen by most knowledgeable SEOs as a direct ranking factor, but an indirect one (bounce rate etc).

Individual pages have a lot of ads don’t they. At 400 clicks per day, your site is small and you’re concerned about ad revenue which must be next to nothing anyway. I would get rid of all the ads for a couple of months and see if your traffic recovers and go from there.

Check your GWT (Google console) and see when the drop was. If it’s around early May your site got hit by the latest core update.
