Not getting over 1K views on any of my YouTube Shorts
Posted by Plenty-Ad7498 on October 8, 2025 at 5:15 amI am posting YouTube Shorts on a daily basis for the last four months, but none of my videos have crossed 1K views. I am worried about my YouTube channel. I don’t know what’s wrong with it. I am totally confused about why I am not getting a good response from my YouTube Shorts.
If anyone has gone through something similar or has tips that helped you grow your Shorts, I’d really appreciate your advice.🙏🏽

GuestOctober 8, 2025 at 5:43 amTry to change the timing of posting. It helped me reaching more than 1k views, in last week.
Use trending topics as per your content.

GuestOctober 8, 2025 at 7:30 amI’ve been through the exact same frustration! Here’s what helped me break past that barrier:
1. Hook in first 3 seconds – Most viewers decide to watch or scroll in the first few seconds. Start with a question or bold statement.
2. Analyze retention graphs – YouTube Studio shows exactly where people drop off. That’s your goldmine for improvement.
3. Study competitors who ARE growing – Find channels in your niche with strong engagement and dissect what works.
4. Niche down harder – Broader topics = more competition. Get super specific.
Also, platforms like Crescitaly can help amplify your initial reach while you’re refining your content strategy – sometimes that early momentum makes a huge difference in how the algorithm treats your videos.
Keep testing different formats. The breakthrough often comes from trying something slightly different than what everyone else is doing!

GuestOctober 8, 2025 at 10:33 amFacing the same struggle of daily Shorts stuck under 1K views was incredibly frustrating until discovering the strategies from Viral Rabbi and Viewtiful. Their focus on mastering the critical first-second hook and leveraging on-screen captions completely transformed my approach. By analyzing my retention graphs and refining my content based on their methods, my views finally started to climb. It’s all about cracking the code to that initial viewer retention, and their insights were the key; definitely recommend checking them out to break through that ceiling.

GuestOctober 8, 2025 at 3:01 pmYes, I’ve been there before. It might be discouraging to post every day and not reach 1,000. I found that tightening the opening second (the hook is far more important than you may think), creating a tidy loop in the video, and utilizing captions that fit the tempo all helped. Try experimenting with alternative posting times or subjects as well; sometimes the issue isn’t with your editing, but rather the format isn’t appropriate for your audience right now.

GuestOctober 8, 2025 at 6:37 pmdon’t stress too much bro.. 4 months of posting daily is solid effort, but youtube’s algo is slower to reward consistency. if none of your vids cross 1k, it’s usually not the channel, it’s the *first 2 seconds*. shorts die when the intro doesn’t instantly hook emotion or curiosity.
focus on pacing + payoff — make viewers feel like they’ll miss something if they scroll. test new hooks every few posts instead of new topics. you can also try some video analysis tools (e.g. creafico, etc.) to get recommendations on what to improve, helps you see exactly where people drop off.
Hope this helps !! 🙂
