  • No change in SERPs/impressions 4 weeks after updating page

I started working on an e-commerce site that had an article with very high potential, but really low impressions in GSC (hardly being served by Google).

I completely revamped the article, making it one of the most comprehensive on the web (for its topic). I submitted the changes in GSC, but 4 weeks later, there's absolutely no difference in impressions or clicks…

It doesn't seem to show up for any of the search terms it's targeting. Yet, I can see that it's indexed and that the page title in the SERPs has changed to the new page title I created.

At first, I thought that Google had the old page cached, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I've never had to wait this long for Google to pick up the changes, so I'm curious if anybody's had a similar experience or an idea of what might be going on.

    Comprehensive doenst mean good

Google doesnt know if your content is good or not – do you have links from your pages with traffic – like in the body?

Is it inside your topical authority fit?

You need links to the page.

I’ll link to you if its a good article.

If I understand correctly, then being the best article on the internet won’t do anything unless you have adequate authority on your site and a few good backlinks.

Could be wrong though so happy to be corrected.
