New to the social media management world
Posted by on June 5, 2021 at 2:33 pmHello everyone, am new to the social media management thing, I choose a restaurant as my niche and I am planning to go to hotels after that.
These are the services that I am planning to offer:
– Creating and optimizing social media profiles
– Designing social media posts
– Creation and scheduling posts for social media profiles
– Engaging with new/existing audiences
– Social media branding
– Client communications
Anyone here can advise me if these tasks are what supposed a social media manager to be doing or not? and what I can include/exclude from these services as well?

The services look good. However, the restaurant niche IMO is not a great pick starting off.
Restaurant owners do not make a lot of profit and are known to be conservative with their spending.
Also, restaurants don’t really need social media management and marketing. Unless they are opening a brand new location or something along those lines, their marketing is all word of mouth.
It’s hard to organically grow a restaurant’s social channels in a way that will actually make them money.

I don’t always offer the communications and engaging with them though I do notify clients of things they need to respond to. It depends on the audience, size, etc. (Amount they are willing to spend as well.)
