Need help with Google ads campaign, only receiving job inquiries.

Posted by PrestigiousWelder161 on June 15, 2024 at 10:53 am

I am working in a logistics company and management has allocated certain budget to run Google search ads. But it's been 3 weeks and we have only received job inquiries. We have added job related keywords as negative. But there is no improvement in valid inquiries.

    Can someone please help.

Its your landing page. The ads to, are you having such disclaimers on the landing page as well. I would even have a button saying “job enquiries can be found here,” or “this is for sales enquiries only”. The LP should be the final vetting. People are desperate right now.

If you have put the proper negative keywords, then check your landing page and make sure that there is CLEAR language that you do not accept job inquiries. What I did personally for a local service company was to install a contact form spam blocker that allows you to put certain keywords to block from submitting a form.

Whoever uses those specific keywords will get a prompt saying ” we don’t accept X offers” and they are not counted as a lead on Google Ads and they don’t even get a form submit/redirect page. See if your contact form has something like that.

Go on your search terms report I believe it is, and then look at the keywords you Ads show for that lead to the job enquiries.

Add them to the list as well!
